4-days to go

The day is almost here. We leave for our 8-day cruise to the Eastern Carribbean on Saturday. I'm not packed yet. I haven't thought about it too much. I'm too busy trying to get things done around the house before the grandparents arrive. It's strange to me that when you live in a room for so long, it doesn't look dirty to you until you actually start cleaning it. I haven't dusted in forever and the first spray of pledge on the dresser, up comes a cloud of dust. Discusting! Now I'm much better about keeping our bathroom clean. I should probably clean it more than once a month, but at least it's not a whole years worth of dust just sitting on our dressers. No wonder the return air vent gets dirty so quickly. So this has been good for me. The bedroom and bathroom will be the cleanest it's been in quite awhile and the boys will be in very good hands while we're away. Although, I did send several pages worth of instructions to the grandparents last night. I guess I'm a little nervous about the whole thing...leaving them for 8 days. I hope they don't think we'll have desserted them, especially since Kyle hasn't been home in several days. They'll be fine and their grandparents will enjoy this time with them. I won't post again until we return from our cruise. God's blessings on you all. Pray for me and my anxiety.
