"Three"

Have you really thought about the number 3? I think about, 3 strikes, you're out. The movie, 3 Men and a Baby. 3rd times a charm. 1,2, 3 Go. How about triplets? It doesn't seem so uncommon to have twins these days. But how many people do you know are having 3 babies? A few weeks ago, my friend Tricia e-mailed and gave me the news of her pregnancy and that her prayers were answered. God is giving them 3 babies. How do you think you would be feeling? Happy? Nervous? Anxious? Confused? In Awe? Probably all these things and more. We talked tonight for the first time in a very long time and all I could do was laugh, b/c it's not me. Now, I'm laughing with her, not at her. I'm excited for them. I was around when she had her first baby girl. She went through a lot to have her and she's just gorgeous, like her mommy. I pray that these 3 babies are healthy and won't be in the hospital for very long, once they're born. 25-weeks to go! Keep in touch.

To John, Tricia, and big sister Ella (you're in my thoughts and prayers).

Frogger

You remember the arcade game Frogger? I enjoyed that game. Pac Man is my favorite. Donkey Kong was up there too. But Frogger, I remember playing that on the play ground when kids were swinging. We'd run through as fast as we could. Talk about suicide. What was I thinking? It also reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where George is trying to cross the busy street with the Arcade game he purchased, getting no help from Kramer or Jerry and it ends up getting smashed by a delivery truck, b/c he couldn't get it up on the curb. FROGGER!

This little frog was on our glass door the other night. I felt like my good friend, John, who is randomly taking pictures of things. I snapped a shot off and he jumped and jumped. FROGGER!

Time with Christian Friends

I took my camera to take a picture of good fellowship and left the memory stick at home. So, all you get are my words tonight.

Just getting home from Bible study, the house is quiet, which gives me time to write my thoughts. Bible study was in Ozark, MO about 20 minutes away from Republic. Several of us live in the area of Republic, so I picked up 6 additional people and we carpooled. To me, that was a great time with Christian girlfriends. We made it to Claricia's house safely and ate some good food; sat down with each other and shared our lives about our families and friends, our struggles, shared answered prayers, asked for prayers and had a devotional time with God, which by the way, Amy does a great job challenging us, encouraging us to walk the walk. It's once a month, but I always come home feeling refreshed and ready to start the next day with my children.

Don't forget to make time for God. Goodnight!

Phil. 4:13 I can do everything by the power of Christ. He gives me strength.

Wet Sunday Turns Out to Be Sunny

There's something about a rainy Sunday that calms me. I opened the back door to hear the rain hitting the deck. It's soothing to hear. I missed the "window" to take a nap. When I was in college, my roommate and I would never miss this moment, especially if it fell on a Sunday. A nice gentle rain with a little thunder rolling across the Ozarks. Unfortunately, the rain has moved out of our part of the Ozarks and the sun is shining very brightly. The sky is blue with some leftover "poofy" clouds off in the distance.

Blogging. It has become popular. Now, I started a blog site for the boys right after Halloween last year and didn't get very far. And here I sit again, trying to do this. I'm determined. Somehow, my blogging is about to come to an end. Nolan is awake from his nap and he's in the room with me playing.
